The SEC's release of EDGAR 9.13 on Monday, Sept. 15, includes the launch of the SEC's voluntary electronic Form D web site and other programming impacting the TA- and other forms. For full details, please see the latest version of the EDGAR Filer Manual, available at: http://www.sec.gov/info/edgar.shtml.

The SEC has changed their EDGAR systems to correctly process series and class identifiers for submission types PREM14A, DEFM14A, PREM14C and DEFM14C. Target funds that are series and class investment companies must use these submission types for those proxy mergers for which the acquiring fund does not file a registration statement on Form N-14; PREM14A, DEFM14A, PREM14C and DEFM14C must include the relevant series and class identifiers for both the target and the acquiring fund (if in existence).

CT EDGAR Solutions will release an upgrade of EDGAR Ease+ (2.1.2) in compliance with the series and class identifier processing described above no earlier than Wednesday, Sept. 17, and no later than Friday, Sept. 19. As always, our software users will be notified by email, and by Auto Update alert messages within their software, as soon as the EDGAR Ease+ upgrade is available for download on www.edgarease.com.

Coming October 1, EDGAR Ease+ 2.2.0 will:

• Allow you to quickly and easily substitute some or all of the fonts in your HTML document with a few clicks of your mouse; you choose which fonts to replace without being limited to an all-or-nothing default font style!

Coming Before December 1: Electronic Form D support
in EDGAR Ease+!

Before December 1 of this year, CT will release an upgrade of EDGAR Ease+ containing a brand new Form D wizard, supporting our users in filing the electronic Form D with their EE+ software. Form D filers using this wizard will be able to:

• Start a Form D filing just as you do any other EE+ project, by choosing the form type and setting Submission Properties options
• Store reporting owner and issuer information in your Filer Information Database and retrieve it as part of the Form D preparation process
• Fill in all of the information required on the Form D by paging through easy-to-use screens
• Stop the process of preparing your Form D filing at any point, with all your work saved, and return to it to complete the form
• Validate the Form D information as you navigate from screen-to-screen (just as you currently do now in the Submission Properties and Form 3/4/5 Wizard dialogs)
• View/proof the Form D to a browser view at any point in the preparation process
• Test file as well as live file your Form D
• Print the Form D from an attractive browser view for paper submission to any jurisdiction which may still require the form to be filed on paper
